A former lawyer for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has blasted the Biden administration’s Inflation Reduction Act, saying it will increase audits on working Americans.
William Henck, a former IRS lawyer, shared the concerns during a Fox Business interview.

“The big corporations and the billionaires are probably sitting back laughing right now,” he said.
“There will be considerable incentive to basically to shake down taxpayers, and the advantage the IRS has is they have basically unlimited resources and no accountability, whereas a taxpayer has to weigh the cost of accountants, tax lawyers — fighting something in tax court,” he added.

The news comes in addition to concerns over the new act adding increased taxes on many Americans in strong contrast with President Joe Biden’s promise that families making $400,000 or less would not pay a “penny more” in taxes.
The new legislation also adds to frustrations for many Americans ahead of the November midterms. Republicans are hoping to win back power in the House and possibly the Senate to help stop the left’s agenda to increase taxes and regulations against the nation’s citizens.
