Hunter Biden's drug addiction could allow him to skate on federal charges

Hunter Biden, who's been under investigation since 2018 for possible tax-related crimes and charges related to an alleged falsified gun purchase form. This week, the walls closed in as it was widely reported that "sufficient evidence" exists to indict the president's son.

But like any Biden, when Joe Biden is in power, it appears as if Hunter might get a longer break from being held accountable. According to Breitbart, President Biden's Justice Department has reportedly delayed its "final decision" on the matter of whether or not to charge Hunter Biden.

Making matters worse, for America at least, is the fact that sources close to the case have reportedly told the Wall Street Journal that Hunter might never, in fact, be charged with anything related to the case.

Why does he get a chance to get out of jail free? Drugs, of course!

Breitbart noted:

People familiar with the matter told the Journal Hunter’s drug abuse could be a scapegoat the defense could successfully use to defend the president’s son against potential charges.

The president’s son is likely aware of potential charges he could face. The president’s Justice Department reportedly met with Hunter’s defense team in recent weeks to “counter” the potential charges to be levied against at least one member of the Biden family business.

Attorney General Merrick Garland made clear that charging decisions are up to United States Attorney David Weiss, a 2017 Trump-appointed federal judge. Though it's still unclear if that is true or not.

Hopefully, justice ultimately prevails, and Hunter Biden is not only held accountable for the aforementioned issues but is also investigated for myriad additional potential charges related to his vast record of shady foreign influence peddling and business deals.

If that day ever comes, and it might if Republicans gain enough power on Capitol Hill, Joe Biden had better retain the best legal defense that he can, because he'll probably be wrapped up in it as well.
