Former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton blasted special counsel John Durham’s probe as a “fake scandal” as new information has been revealed connecting a Clinton hired tech firm with spying on former President Donald Trump.

“Trump & Fox are desperately spinning up a fake scandal to distract from his real ones. So it’s a day that ends in Y. The more his misdeeds are exposed, the more they lie,” Clinton tweeted as she linked a Vanity Fair story.

The report by Vanity Fair was titled, “You’ll never believe it but Hillary Clinton did not, in fact, spy on Trump’s White House.”
The attempt to respond to the report has so far appeared weak, as evidence continues to point to Clinton’s campaign meddling in illegal spying activities.
If so, the issue could derail a possible future Clinton presidential bid, something she may already have in mind as she seeks to speak out against the accusations.
