Herschel Walker presses on in Georgia Senate race despite leftist attacks

Georgia Republican Senate candidate Herschel Walker claims he will not back down after claims by a woman he had a child with says she had to pressure him to pay for an abortion he wanted.

The woman's allegations were published in the Washington Post and have spread across the media.

"The woman, speaking with the Washington Post, said she was unable to afford the abortion she had in 2009 when they were dating, so she had to press him to pay her. Walker (who, after initially denying it, now says he knows the identity of the woman) insists he never knew about an abortion until her allegations were published in the media last week," the Washington Examiner reported.

"He brushed her renewed accusations off, saying the 'October surprise' in the weeks leading up to the election won't faze him," it added.

Walker continues to remain strong in the weeks leading into the election in a close race with Georgia Democratic Sen. Raphael Warnock.

The winner could determine who controls the Senate as the 50-50 deadlock may come down to who finishes first in the Peach State.
