Harris Not Ready for Primetime

As America tuned into the vice presidential debates in Utah on Wednesday, night one thing was abundantly clear: Vice President Mike Pence has the temperament, leadership skills and gravitas to become president, if called to serve our nation, while Kamala Harris does not.

And no, it has nothing to do with gender, as the left would like us to believe in its never-ending exploitation of identity politics. It’s the invaluable experience Pence has acquired throughout his career from being governor of Indiana to his prominent role as second in command in the Trump administration these past four years. He’s assisted the president in running this country and mitigating one seismic crisis after another.

First, it was the #RussiaCollusionHoax, allegedly waged by Hillary Clinton as we’ve learned from recently declassified notes by former CIA Director John Brennan.

“Throughout the summer and fall of 2016, Hillary Clinton and the Democrats were accusing Donald Trump and his campaign of colluding with the Russians. We now know that that collusion hoax was false and that it was Hillary Clinton and the Democrats who were actually colluding with foreign intelligence officers,” Sen. Tom Cotton of Arkansas told “Fox and Friends” on Wednesday.

Next came multiple congressional investigations into the concocted collusion, followed by the 22-month special counsel investigation to derail the Trump administration and undo the results of the 2016 election.

Then came the impeachment fiasco that failed to remove our duly elected president waged by Trump’s nemesis Adam Schiff, D-Calif., a documented liar and propagandist, who was also at the forefront of the debunked Russia collusion plot alongside Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and a cesspool of other “hate-Trump” Democrats and U.S. State Department hacks who arrogantly believed they should be in charge of our foreign policy, not the president of the United States.

And then came the ongoing coronavirus pandemic — the worst global health crisis in a century — in which Pence has lead the Coronavirus Task Force to glowing reviews.

In short, Pence is battle-tested. There’s no challenge, domestic or foreign, he can’t handle. He’s someone the American people — and our military — can trust.

The same, however, cannot be said of Joe Biden’s running mate, Kamala Harris, the junior senator from California rejected by her own party in the Democratic primary. Throughout the past 18 months, the former prosecutor has flip-flopped on banning fracking, “Medicare for All” and issues surrounding racism. For instance, she agreed to become Biden’s running mate despite having lambasted him in the first Democratic primary debate for opposing busing and other implied “racist” behavior.

Harris said it was “hurtful to hear you talk about the reputations of two United States senators who built their reputations and career on segregation of race in this country,” referring to Biden’s boastful working relationship with segregationist Democratic senators, Herman Talmadge and James Eastland, while a U.S. senator. “Eastland was a giant in the Senate and an avatar of the darkest racism of the Civil Rights-era South,” wrote Tim Dickinson in Rolling Stone in June 2019. “He was a plantation owner who championed white supremacy in language that now shocks the conscience.”

Harris has also flip-flopped on matters involving sexual harassment.

During the Brett Kavanaugh 2018 Supreme Court nomination hearings, she viciously attacked Kavanaugh, insisting we believe his accusers’ unsubstantiated sexual assault allegations. Yet, with her new boss, Joe Biden, similar allegations of inappropriate touching and assault from various women have been met with a shrug.

Does she have two sets of rules, one for Republicans and another for Democrats? Or do Harris’ purported principles shift in the wind based on her own self interest and/or political agenda du jour?

Given that Joe Biden is the oldest candidate to run for president, these are questions voters must ask come November.

Bottom line: Kamala Harris isn’t ready to be president. Her opponent, Mike Pence, is.

  1. For sure. We cannot have
    Her as Vice President and
    Heaven forbid the Presidency.
    What would become of our
    Beautiful USA?
Thank God Trump is well now.
    Praying you have another
    4 yrs without Nancy around.

  2. She is as caustic as lye. Her condescending, arrogant, demeaning and dismissive attitude is insulting. If I was ever questioned by her I throw her a big FY and walk out. She thinks she’s all that and a bag of chips. Her grating and irritating laugh even sounds phony.

    1. No different than Hillary but a whole lot stupider. Hillary and Bill have had HUNDREDS of people murdered and got away with every one of them. That does take some intelligence.

  3. Cant believe anybody would voter for thes liers. Senile joe and headboard harris have and nothing for the country but hi taxes .dictate or lives like the china does to their citizens ..mob rule

  4. agree with all of the above God blessed us with Trump (who did not need this job and donated all 4 years of his salary)and the bonus of Melania and the Pence,s and staff what a terrific 4 years praying for another 4 years if we do not win our country will become a 3rd world country within 5-10 years wake up people.

  5. She is the absolute worst pick Jungle Joe could’ve made. He cowed down to the radical left (Waters, AOC) to pick her. Heck I would’ve been a better pick and I’m a TRUMP supporter all the way. Headboard Harris MUST be kept in her place and NOT the White House

  6. Do not forget, she was Willie Brown’s “HO” AND NOW SHE IS BIDENS. If they are elected, Biden will not last year and we will have Kamala as our president!!!!!! is not that a nice kettle of fish (dead, smelly fish)
