New Jersey Republican Rep. Jeff Van Drew called on President Joe Biden and the rest of his administration to resign on Sunday over the response to America’s withdrawal from Afghanistan.
“My God, it is one of the darkest, most embarrassing days we’ve had in our country, and it’s a tremendous embarrassment for the Biden administration,” Van Drew said during “Sunday Night in America” on Fox News, according to Breitbart News.

“You know, every day I wake up as a congressman, and you wonder what is going to be next, but with this administration, it is failure, after failure, after failure. Honest to God, I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I am. It literally is time for this president to resign. It is time for this vice president to resign. It is time for the Senate president and our speaker to resign.” he added.
Van Drew isn’t the only one calling for Biden’s resignation. Former President Donald Trump blasted Biden in a Sunday statement as well.
President Donald J. Trump:
“It is time for Joe Biden to resign in disgrace … It shouldn’t be a big deal, because he wasn’t elected legitimately in the first place!”

Van Drew will certainly not be the last to make the call for Biden to resign. In addition to Afghanistan, his failures on the border, inflation and other areas have led many to call for new leadership as soon as possible.
