Dr. Anthony Fauci was just targeted by former GOP House Speaker Newt Gingrich, who suggested that the infectious dudes expert could be experiencing”cognitive impairment” during a Fox News interview on Wednesday, urging the doctor to retire.
“Watching his decay — I mean people worry about President Biden. I worry about Fauci in terms of his cognitive impairment,” Gingrich said.

The claims came following a recent Fauci interview during which he claimed the delta variant could cause case to double in the coming weeks to 200,000 cases a day
“Remember, just a couple of months ago, we were having about 10,000 cases a day,” he said. “I think you’re likely going to wind up somewhere between 100,000 and 200,000 cases.”
He added, “What we’re seeing, because of this increase in transmissibility, and because we have about 93 million people in this country who are eligible to get vaccinated who don’t get vaccinated — that you have a significant pool of vulnerable people.”
