Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp has proved time and again that he’s brave enough to stand up to the outrage mob, regardless of the consequences.
He did it again today, officially banning local governments from mandating the use of masks.
While Kemp strongly encouraged Georgians to wear masks, and often does so himself, he seems to be one of the last elected officials in America to believe that the government has no right to dictate mask usage.
Instead, Kemp has sought to persuade the citizenry rather than coerce them.
It’s not as if coercion is working anyway. In California, where masks have been mandatory for over a month, and much longer than that in Los Angeles, the state just set a new record for cases in a day.
