Former Trump leaders blast Biden’s weak relationships with Russia, Germany

Former Trump officials have called out President Joe Biden’s weak relationships with Russia and Germany as a potential invasion of Ukraine by Russian President Vladimir Putin grows more concerning.

“The idea that it’s a positive outcome if we’re just not criticizing each other publicly is, I think, shortsighted,” Amanda Rothschild, former senior adviser on the Policy Planning Staff at the U.S. Department of State, told the Daily Caller.

“Biden’s weakness is exhausting,” former Ambassador to the U.N. Nikki Haley told the Daily Caller in a statement. “Deterrence means using sanctions to stop Putin now, not after the damage is done.”

A glaring example is Russia’s Nord Stream II pipeline. “Joe Biden should have never waived sanctions on Russia’s Nord Stream II pipeline. His weak foreign policy agenda shows his disregard for putting the American people and our allies first,” Tennessee Republican Sen. Marsha Blackburn said in December.

“Biden needs to stop his weak appeasement of these adversaries & put our allies, like Ukraine & Israel, first,” Florida Republican Sen. Rick Scott added.

The overall look continues to be one of decline for Biden, which will not help as the nation continues to face new threats in our nation and worldwide.
