Former NFL running back Marion Barber was found dead in his home on Wednesday in Frisco, Texas.
Barber was discovered by law enforcement and further details are not yet known.

“[The Dallas Cowboys] told NBC 5 that Barber, 38, was found unresponsive,” NBC DFW reported. “Further details are not yet known and a cause of death has not been provided.”
“Officers are currently out on a welfare concern, but we are unable to provide any further information at this time,” a police spokesperson said in a statement.

Barber played six of his seven seasons with the Dallas Cowboys and was a Pro Bowl player in 2007. He ran for nearly 5,000 yards during his career with 53 touchdowns.
