Former Fox News host Bob Beckel dies at 73

Bob Beckel, a former host of “The Five” on Fox News, has died at the age of 73.

“He was always full of joy, happiness, light, sunshine. He loved God and Jesus and we miss him already. God bless you, God speed, Bob Beckel,” Fox News host Sean Hannity said.

Beckel, a Democrat who helped lead Walter Mondale’s 1984 presidential campaign against former President Ronald Reagan, was well-liked by many leaders in both political parties.

“At the turn of the century, he joined Fox News as a political analyst and helped launch “The Five” in 2011, playing the lone liberal on the panel that included Kimberly Guilfoyle, Eric Bolling, Dana Perino, Greg Gutfeld and Andrea Tantaros,” according to NY Daily News.

His loss marks the end of an era, as the leader was one of the few political pundits to serve well with both mainstream and conservative media.

Beckel is survived by his two children.
