Former CNN producer John Griffin has been sued in a lawsuit related to charges of child trafficking for $15 million, according to a new report.
“For several years prior to 2020, the defendant solicited young girls, including the minor plaintiff, for the purpose of knowingly persuading, inducing, enticing and coercing them to engage in sexual activity, sexual exploitation, and/or sexual trafficking,” the lawsuit stated, according to Fox News.

An FBI whistleblower has also spoken out against the long delay between the charges against Griffin and the lawsuit.

There was reportedly a 17-month delay between the arrest warrant and Griffin’s arrest. The delay has led to concerns regarding what motivated the large gap in time.
Griffin is not the only reported sexual offender who has worked at CNN. Last month, another now-former CNN producer named Rick Saleeby was revealed in a child sex scandal.
The concerning cases have led to new credibility issues at the network, as well as major legal cases for the two men in the separate cases.
