Following his arraignment, Trump Is scheduled to give an address at Mar-a-Lago

On Tuesday, former President Donald Trump is scheduled to appear in court in Manhattan, and then later that day, he intends to give a speech in front of the general public.

It is expected that the speeches would begin at about 8:15 p.m. His re-election campaign announced on Sunday that the rally will take place at 7:00 a.m. EDT at the Mar-a-Lago property in Palm Beach, Florida, according to The Daily Wire.

There has been no more information regarding the content of Trump's statements that has been revealed as of yet.

The address will follow Trump's anticipated journey to New York City, which is where he was charged by a grand jury last week, and where his arraignment is scheduled to take place on Tuesday afternoon. Trump is the first former president to be charged with a crime after leaving office.

Even though the indictment is still under seal, Trump's attorney, Joe Tacopina, told ABC News on Sunday that he was confident the charges "revolve around" the documentation of hush money payments made to adult film actress Stormy Daniels during the 2016 election cycle. Tacopina made this statement despite the fact that the indictment is still under seal.

Trump asserts that he is the victim of "political persecution" at the hands of Democratic Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, but he maintains that he has committed any violation.

Trump stated in one of his more recent statements on the matter, "The Democrats have lied, cheated, and stolen in their obsession with trying to 'Get Trump,' but now they've done the unthinkable – indicting a completely innocent person in an act of blatant Election Interference," Trump said. The statement was in reference to the Democrats' attempts to "Get Trump."

A federal investigation into Trump's handling of documents and the events surrounding January 6, 2021, led by special counsel Jack Smith, is one of the other investigations that could lead to charges being brought against the president. Another investigation, taking place in Georgia and focusing on the 2020 election, is being conducted there.

In addition to Donald Trump, Nikki Haley, a former governor of South Carolina and current ambassador to the United Nations, and Vivek Ramaswamy, an entrepreneur, have also entered the contest for the Republican presidential nomination in 2024.

On Sunday, the former Republican governor of Arkansas, Asa Hutchinson, made the announcement that he will be running for another office. Also, he said that Donald Trump should withdraw from the contest.

“First of all, the office is more important than any individual person,” Hutchinson said on ABC News.

“And so for the sake of the office of the presidency, I do think that’s too much of a sideshow and distraction and he needs to be able to concentrate on his due process and there is a presumption of innocence.”

Mike Pence, who served as vice president under Donald Trump, and Ron DeSantis, who is now the governor of Florida, are two more potential candidates for the candidacy of the Republican Party for president.

In the meanwhile, Vice President Joseph Biden has stated that he intends to run for re-election but has not yet publicly announced his candidacy.
