Fetterman taken to hospital after feeling 'lightheaded' at Senate retreat

Democratic Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman, the one who swore to America that he was totally fine and had no concerns of any future health issues was hospitalized this week.

According to Breitbart, Fetterman was transported to the George Washington University Hospital after reportedly feeling "lightheaded."

Joe Cavello, Fetterman’s communication director, released a statement on the newly-elected senator's condition.

"Towards the end of the Senate Democratic Retreat today, Senator John Fetterman began feeling lightheaded. He left and called his staff, who picked him up and drove him to the George Washington University Hospital," Fetterman's office's statement read.

Luckily for Fetterman, doctors reportedly indicated that he had not suffered a stroke, which was an obvious immediate concern given his medical history.

"Initial tests did not show evidence of a new stroke, the doctors are running more tests and John is remaining overnight for observation. He’s in good spirits and talking with his staff and family. We will provide more information when we have it," the statement read.

A bizarre and concerning twist on Fetterman's status was reported Friday, in that Fetterman sometimes reportedly hears "Charlie Brown voices" when other people are talking, according to the Daily Mail.

Fetterman has been provided advanced communications equipment to accommodate his various handicaps which reportedly came as the result of a stroke he suffered toward the beginning of his Senate campaign. The transition to Senate life had reportedly been difficult for the Pennsylvania Democrat.

The Daily Mail noted:

Fetterman didn't talk to The Times, but aides and allies told the newspaper that his entrée into the Senate has been a difficult period, especially because he still struggles from auditory processing issues.

That means he has to use a transcription tablet to engage in conversations.

Fetterman will reportedly return back to his work in the Senate on Monday, the report added.

Many continue to argue that Fetterman's overall health condition makes him unfit to serve in an elected position as powerful and crucial as the Senate, especially when his decisions can affect our daily lives.
