A federal appeals court ruled on Wednesday to remove a temporary block on New York's gun law that would change concealed carry requirements.
The 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals reversed the decision from last week by District Judge Glenn Suddaby, with the law now in immediate effect.

"I am pleased that the full Concealed Carry Improvement Act will stay in effect and continue to protect communities as the appeals process moves forward," New York Attorney General Letitia James said.
"My office will continue our efforts to protect the safety of everyday New Yorkers and defend our common-sense gun laws," her statement added.

The move continues the battle over the state's concealed carry law that many Second Amendment supporters argue is unconstitutional. The new law required submitting social media account for review and proving one's good character, as well as bans on guns in many public spaces.
The legal struggle will certainly continue, but the state's leftist lawfare takes the lead for now on the important issue.
