Report: Newly Released FBI Documents Implicate James Comey

At the same time James Comey was leading the FBI, the top law enforcement agency in the country was orchestrating an effort to catch Gen. Michael Flynn in a lie while using the Russian investigation as a mere pretext.

According to Fox News, top FBI officials “openly questioned if their ‘goal’ was ‘to get him to lie, so we can prosecute him or get him fired,’ when interviewing Flynn in the White House in January 2017.”

The handwritten notes further suggested agents planned in the alternative to get Flynn “to admit to breaking the Logan Act” when he spoke to then-Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak during the presidential transition period, per the Fox News report.

“DIRTY COP JAMES COMEY GOT CAUGHT!” tweeted President Donald Trump in response to the release of the documents. Comey was responsible for the FBI at the time of the conversations in question.

Trump the tweeted that CNN “doesn’t want to speak about their persecution of General Michael Flynn & why they got the story so wrong. They, along with others, should pay a big price for what they have purposely done to this man & his family. They won’t even cover the big breaking news about this scam!”

“What happened to General Michael Flynn, a war hero, should never be allowed to happen to a citizen of the United States again!” said Trump comparing Flynn’s prosecution to the one against Roger Stone.

The Fox News report pointed out that the “bombshell materials” released from the FBI suggested “the agents weren’t truly concerned about Flynn’s intercepted contacts with Kislyak during the presidential transition period, except as a pretext.”

Sidney Powell, Gen. Flynn’s attorney, asserts that because of the new documents, “this persecution will have to be thrown out entirely.”
