Donald Trump intensifies attacks on vote-by-mail schemes

As the US moves towards recovery and settling down into the new normal, a major fight over the Democrat push for mail-in ballots looms.

Democrats have argued that voting by mail is a matter of life and death, but Donald Trump issued an urgent warning on Monday that “there is NO WAY (ZERO!) that Mail-In Ballots will be anything less than substantially fraudulent.”

Despite evidence that voting in person — even at the height of the pandemic — did not result in a significant increase of coronavirus deaths or cases, Democrats, led by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) have insisted that voting by mail will save lives.

Of course, that’s simply a front for their real intentions, and Trump has been sounding the alarm about the implications of the scheme since it was first introduced.

Nancy Pelosi has attempted to manipulate the language surrounding Democrat mail-in voting plans, saying on Sunday that “We’re now calling it voting at home because that’s really what it’s all about—enabling people to vote at home.”

Trump exposed the truth of what will happen with mail-in voting, tweeting on Monday:

Mail boxes will be robbed, ballots will be forged & even illegally printed out & fraudulently signed. The Governor of California is sending Ballots to millions of people, anyone living in the state, no matter who they are or how they got there, will get one.

That will be followed up with professionals telling all of these people, many of whom have never even thought of voting before, how, and for whom, to vote. This will be a Rigged Election. No way!”

Fraud, abuse, and mishandling of current vote-by-mail provisions is already well-documented. Case in point, according to Breitbart, “Federal data revealed that 16.4 million mail-in ballots went missing in the 2016 and 2018 elections.”

For the 2016 election cycle, 41.6 million ballots were mailed to registered voters, and of those, nearly six million went missing. The impact of expanding mail-in voting to the entire US population cannot be overstated.
