Donald Trump celebrates Roe v. Wade reversal, greatest legacy of his presidency

Former President Donald Trump nominated Justices Brett Kavanaugh, Neil Gorsuch, and Amy Coney Barrett to the bench. Now America is reaping the rewards.

Trump touted his role in the “biggest win for life in a generation” with the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization decision released Friday, The Hill reported. The ruling that caused nearly 50 years of violence against the unborn was overturned in party by his judicial picks.

“Today’s decision, which is the biggest WIN for LIFE in a generation, along with other decisions that have been announced recently, were only made possible because I delivered everything as promised, including nominating and getting three highly respected and strong Constitutionalists confirmed to the United States Supreme Court,” Trump said. He shared his words through a statement on his Save America PAC.

“These major Victories prove that even though the Radical Left is doing everything in their power to destroy our Country, your Rights are being protected, the Country is being defended, and there is still hope and time to Save America!” Trump added. This was a well-deserved victory lap for the former president.

Former Vice President Mike Pence was also pleased with the decision. “Having been given this second chance for life, we must not rest and must not relent until the sanctity of life is restored to the center of American law in every state in the land,” Pence said in a separate statement.

The decision was 6-3 in a case that involved a Mississippi law that prohibited abortion after 15 weeks, ABC News reported. A leaked draft of the decision that would overturn Roe v. Wade caused a stir last month, but the court has now had its final say.

Predictably, Democrats are apoplectic about all of the babies that will now live. President Joe Biden had previously expressed a desire to use executive action to uphold abortion, it’s unlikely he could do anything in light of the Supreme Court’s decision.

Trump seems the most unlikely hero, but he came through for the unborn like no president ever has. States will still have the right to allow or prohibit abortion, but at least child murder is no longer the law of the land in the U.S.
