The Democratic National Committee (DNC) rescheduled its May 25 fundraiser for women’s leadership due to low ticket sales.
The event was scheduled to include Vice President Kamala Harris as its speaker, and is now set to take place in the fall, according to Status Coup News.

“The event was rescheduled last minute for the autumn, when the event is traditionally held, after the event couldn’t sell enough tickets,” Status Coup News reported.
“When the invites were sent out on May 5, it was hyped as an incredible opportunity to mingle in person after two years of virtual events and meetings,” it added.
So the @dnc had to move a May fundraiser with VP Kamala Harris to the fall because “they couldn’t sell enough tickets.”

The report also comes as Harris faces polling numbers lower than President Joe Biden. “Only 28 percent approve of Harris, while 62 percent disapprove. In contrast, Biden’s approval rating is 33 percent with 56 percent disapproving,” Breitbart News noted.
The event shows the weakness at the popular level with top Democrats ahead of the midterms as the party may take large losses that would return power in Congress to conservatives.
