Several leading Democrat female political strategists gathered in July for a Washington, D.C., dinner to discuss media concerns with Vice President Kamala Harris according to a new report.
The Axios report noted the team included, “Harris confidant Minyon Moore; two former DNC officials, Donna Brazile and Leah Daughtry; Biden adviser and leader of his outside group, Stephanie Cutter; former Hillary Clinton spokeswomen and Democratic strategists Adrienne Elrod and Karen Finney; and former Obama White House communications director Jennifer Palmieri.”
The report noted, “It was less about how do you sort out the infrastructure [of Harris’ operation], and it was more how can this group contribute to make sure that not only is her team making the most of this moment — as the first woman of color in the White House — but how can we help from the outside?”
Several outlets have noted the vice president’s string of embarrassing moments over the summer. Newsmax tweeted, “Kamala Harris’ summer of gaffes, embarrassing staff leaks, and dismal polls have some political observers wondering if President Joe Biden will be forced to consider if his current No. 2 is more vice than virtue as a running mate in 2024.”

Many still recall Harris telling Americans to enjoy the long weekend in a Twitter post entering Memorial Day that many took as offensive.

The group of leading Democrat women may help, but much damage has already been done. With three years to go, anything can happen, but so far, a lot of what happened has not been good.
