Dem Rep. Maxine Waters has sad message for homeless voucher seekers

California Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters told a group of people seeking housing vouchers to “go home” during a wild video recorded in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

The Los Angeles Times shared the video and described the details of the event.

“It’s a bunch of rumors,” Waters told the outlet. “You’ll hurt yourself and the community trying to put this together without background,” she warned.

“I don’t want you to start trying to write it, you won’t understand it,” she told the Times.

“I want everybody to go home,” to which someone yells, “We don’t got no home! That’s why we’re here!”

The chaotic scene looked bad for Waters and for the state as Democrats continue to shell out money for social programs yet continue to have some of the worst problems with homelessness in the nation.
