Former President Bill Clinton faces a new allegation of propositioning a former staff of former New York Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo in a new memoir from one of Cuomo’s accusers of sexual harassment.
Karen Hinton revealed the alleged event took place in 1984 in Greenville, South Carolina. She claimed Clinton slipped her a note with his hotel number on it and invited her to visit.
Clinton was married to Hillary Clinton and served as governor of Arkansas at the time. The account is shared in Hinton’s upcoming book Penis Politics, according to The Washington Examiner.
The book is not the first time Hinton has shared the Clinton concern. Her account was included in the 1999 book by Michael Isikoff called Uncovering Clinton, according to the report.
Hinton also shared that Cuomo, whom she worked for when he served as Clinton’s secretary of Housing and Urban Development, invited her to his hotel room and pulled her close to him.
Cuomo has denied the account.
The upcoming book has already caused controversy. On Wednesday, the title was reportedly banned from Facebook.
