Lindsey Boylan, one of the accusers of Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D), accused House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) of enabling sexual violence following Pelosi’s comments on Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
Speaker Pelosi, Andrew Cuomo one time creepily recalled to his woman staffer (me) that you were “quite something” way back when after you gave a speech with him @javitscenter.
Do you know that you too enable sexual violence with your silence? https://t.co/A5UoDYJhY4

Boylan has cleared been frustrated with Pelosi’s lack of support in sexual harassment allegations against the governor.
Pelosi has argued Cuomo should be investigated. She also noted in March that the New York governor “should look inside his heart — he loves New York — to see if he can govern effectively.”
Cuomo accuser Tara Reade also took to Twitter to respond to Pelosi.
Do you really @SpeakerPelosi stand with survivors? I was a former Senate Aide that was sexual assaulted by a member of the Senate who is now POTUS. I was silenced and denied justice by you and the Congress.
You Madam Speaker did not stand with me. You are complicit with rape. https://t.co/WcGEZKBmfr

Pelosi’s statement to support Sexual Assault Awareness Month appear to be backfiring rather than helping. Cuomo’s accusers have boldly spoken out, offering strong words to press Pelosi to further oppose Cuomo if she truly support the fight against sexual assault.
