COVID-19 strikes close to Pelosi, aide receives positive test after meeting with rogue Texas Dems

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is now being dragged into the COVID-19 outbreak fiasco sparked by Texas Democrats after one of her senior staff members tested positive for COVID-19 after attending a meeting with the coalition of rogue lawmakers.

More than 50 state Democrats left Texas last week to avoid a vote on an election reform bill. Six have since tested positive for COVID-19.

“Yesterday, a fully vaccinated White House official tested positive for COVID-19 off campus, a White House official told Axios in a statement.

“In accordance with our rigorous COVID-19 protocols, the official remains off campus as they wait for a confirmatory PCR test. The White House Medical Unit has conducted contact tracing interviews and determined no close contacts among White House principals and staff. The individual has mild symptoms,” the report added.

The Texas Democrats also met with Vice President Kamala Harris. The vice president later visited Walter Reed National Military Medical Center where she reportedly tested negative for COVID-19.

The new cases in Washington have led to an even greater focus on encouraging Americans to be vaccinated. However, even many cases of vaccinated Americans testing positive for COVID-19 are emerging, leading to additional concerns regarding the virus.
