A CNN poll released on Friday revealed just two percent of Americans believe the nation is doing “very well” under the leadership of President Joe Biden.
Much of the concern may revolve around the top issues facing Americans, both of which Biden has struggled with recently with Americans.
The poll asked, “What one issue do you feel is the most important issue facing the country today?” According to the CNN poll, the coronavirus ranked first at 36 percent, the economy second at 20 percent, followed by immigration and Afghanistan.
On Thursday, Biden announced sweeping new vaccination requirement for federal workers and businesses with 100 or more employees. The announcement has led to widespread anger from governors in more than 20 states as well as millions of Americans.
The economy has also been an issue of frustration under Biden’s leadership. He ended thousands of jobs by executive order during his first week in office alone by ending the Keystone XL pipeline and the construction of the border wall.
The poll is one of several noting a downward trend for Biden. CNN’s poll early in September was called “another disastrous poll” by Kellyanne Conway.

When CNN’s respondents only give Biden a two percent ranking, you know it’s bad. The saddest part may be that we are still only in the first year of Biden’s four-year term as president.
