China claims Biden is pushing Russia-Ukraine conflict to ‘nuclear war’

A Chinese publication said on Monday that President Joe Biden is pushing the world toward nuclear war by claiming Russian President Vladimir Putin cannot remain in power.

The Global Times shared the words following Biden’s off-script remarks that the White House later updated regarding his concern over Russia’s treatment of Ukraine.

“No matter how well Biden’s propaganda machine works, it cannot downplay the fact that such a blunt statement at a sensitive time could further inflame the situation,” the communist publication reported.

“This was unwise and irresponsible, reflecting a dire problem within U.S. policy-making: some politicians are taking their personal grievances to the national level,” it added.

The new development only adds to Biden’s problems with Ukraine. The U.S. has donated more than a billion dollars to Ukraine, but has chosen not to add a no-fly zone to prevent escalation.

Instead, the weak response and Biden’s gaffes only make the environment ripe for China to also move in power against Taiwan, a shift that would mark another foreign policy failure on Biden’s watch.
