As President Joe Biden and his family members continue to take growing political heat over their alleged deals with foreign adversaries while he was vice president, eyes are now turning to another party.
According to Breitbart, House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY), who has been at the forefront of exposing the Biden family's shady dealings for personal enrichment, believes that former President Barack Obama was aware of what the Bidens were doing on his watch.
Comer told conservative host Lou Dobbs that he thinks Obama must have known what was happening, signaling out Biden's last year as vice president.
"I believe, Lou, that it’s because he knew what Joe Biden was doing the last year of his vice presidency," Comer said.
He added: "He knew his son [Hunter Biden] was no good, and he knew this was nothing but a political liability not just for our country, not just for the democrat party, but for Obama’s legacy,” Comer added. “Because a lot of this happened during the Obama administration."
Comer went on to add that he believes Obama knew the Bidens were toxic enough that he decided not to back him as the Democratic nominee in 2016.
"So, I think that’s why Obama didn’t want Joe Biden to run for president. I think they knew about this,” Comer said about the Biden family's business. "And remember, a lot of these coverups would have happened during the Obama administration with Obama appointees in these deep state bureaucracies."

Comer revealed Wednesday that over the course of several years the family business received over $10 million from schemes in Romania and China in return for what appears to be influence peddling.
Social media users reacted swiftly to Comer's comments, with many agreeing that Obama must have had an idea of what the Bidens were up to at the time.
"Obama knew Hillary was using a private server that could easily be hacked and did nothing. Obama spied on Trump. Now we find out Obama knew Biden was selling influence to multiple countries for millions. Must be nice to be in the above the law club," one Twitter user wrote.
Another Twitter user added: "Obama was in it ALL. He was the first great trickery. After him, the rest was a walk in the park. Control the media and the intelligence agencies, and you control America. Add the courts in next, and BAMM."
Another user asked what many presumably would like to know: "Why are they not going to jail?"
Before anyone gets too excited about Obama's involvement, there's a long road ahead to fully expose Biden and his family for what it appears they've engaged in. Who knows how long that will ultimately take.
But it's important to give credit where credit is due; Comer, so far, is certainly coming through on his campaign promises to seek the truth about the Biden family's influence-peddling scheme. Let's pray he continues to have the strength, support, and resources to continue his work.
