Fox News host Tucker Carlson announced his support on Monday for two Republican Senate candidates.
“What a blessing it is to announce good news on television, there is so little of it. The Republican Party is getting better, much better,” Tucker said on his nightly program, according to The Daily Caller.
“We know that because of two new Republican Senate candidates. The first is J.D. Vance in Ohio and the second in the state of Arizona, Blake Masters is running. Every bit as impressive,” he added.
J.D. Vance, author of the best-selling book “Hillbilly Elegy,” announced his run for Senate in Ohio on July 1 from his hometown of Middletown.
Thiel announced his run on Monday. During his launch video, he said, ““Our leaders have shipped millions of jobs to China, and the internet, which was supposed to give us an awesome future, is instead being used to shut us up.
It added, “We are up against a media that lies to us, schools that teach our kids to hate our country, and corporations that have gotten so big, they think they’re bigger than America. We gotta build an economy where you can afford to raise a family on one single income.”
The two GOP candidates are both located in key states for conservatives. Ohio has long served as a battleground state, while Arizona, usually conservative, was won by President Joe Biden in 2020.
Carlson’s announcement will certainly spread the world to far more Americans regarding the two new Senate contenders. His support will also provide an important boost as both candidates begin their run for Senate in 2022.
