During a recent installment of his prime time Fox News show, Tucker Carlson let loose with a health bombshell in the form of an assertion that President Joe Biden is suffering from senility so severe that he is no longer capable of leading the nation – pointing to the ongoing disaster in Afghanistan as strong proof, as Breitbart notes.
On Friday’s episode of Tucker Carlson Tonight, the popular on-air personality emphasized the growing number of instances in recent days in which senior officials in Biden’s own administration publicly contradicted his characterization of events on the ground in Kabul, something Carlson said would never have happened under previous commanders in chief.
Lamenting the disastrous events of the preceding week, Carlson declared, “We have learned a lot in the past five days. Maybe the most important thing we’ve learned is that Joe Biden is not capable of running the country. Joe Biden is senile.”
Taking care to emphasize that he was not making such a claim in order to shame or embarrass Biden, considering that “any decent person feels sorry for him,” Carlson proceeded to take aim at friends, family, and close advisors of the president who permitted such a tragic scenario to unfold in the first place.
As Carlson explained it, “In the months before last November’s election, Joe Biden’s own family knew perfectly well that he was in profound cognitive decline. They were worried about it. They told other people they were worried about it, which is how we know. But they did nothing to stop Biden from running for President, neither did Ron Klain, who is now the White House Chief of Staff.”
Though there have long been serious red flags about Biden’s worsening state, according to Carlson, the egregious mismanagement of the American troop withdrawal from Afghanistan has brought things in to start relief as “the entire U.S. military has just been humiliated by illiterate peasants in turbans…many of them were carrying our rifles as they did it.”
As a result, the host asserted, Biden’s own appointees and senior administration officials are going so far as to contradict his statements in public, taking issue with the president’s dodgy claims that al Qaeda lacks a presence in Afghanistan, that Taliban fighters are not impeding the path to the airport for Americans and others seeking evacuation from Kabul, and that he has not received criticism from allies over his handling of the crisis.
Soon after those statements were uttered by Biden, Pentagon spokesperson John Kirby said, “we know that al Qaeda is a presence” and admitted the State Department was “mindful” of reports of Taliban interference with evacuations, and representatives of the United Kingdom and Germany deemed the president’s handling of Afghanistan “shameful,” “dishonourable,” and the “biggest debacle” NATO has ever seen.
Though some might attribute these glaring inconsistencies to a blatantly intentional attempt to deceive the American people and put a positive spin on the administration’s obvious failures with regard to Afghanistan, Carlson seems to believe that something more personally tragic is happening with Biden and that those who have been pulling his strings for the past seven months ,ay be starting – albeit slowly – to let the truth be revealed.
