President Joe Biden has some nerve. Not only has he created an economic crisis that has led to supply chain problems, but now he’s blaming the parties who are getting hurt the most.
Biden accused private businesses of not doing enough to address the backlog of imported products that are stuck in a shipping bottleneck, Breitbart reported. That’s rich considering it’s his own ineptness that led to this problem.
“We need major retailers who ordered the goods and the freight movers who take the goods from the ships to factories and to stores to step up as well,” Biden said Wednesday at White House speech. “If the private sector doesn’t step up, we’re going to call them out and ask them to act,” Biden also threatened.
The president met Wednesday with leaders from major retailers like Home Depot, Target, and Wal-Mart. Though they agreed to additional hours to help get their products moving, it may not be enough to overcome the problems created by the administration.
There are currently ships stuck off shore that are packed with goods but have nowhere to go to unload. While west coast ports have agreed to remain open 24/7, ports struggle without enough workers to do the job or even enough truck drivers to transport them once on dry land.
In late August, Biden appointed “port envoy” John Porcari to address the issue to no avail, Fox News reported. Still, Biden has attempted to shame private companies into doing more, but the administration already said the backlog may end up affecting Christmas.
Biden has pushed the U.S. economy to the brink of recession, according to The Hill. Between COVID-19 shortages, labor shortages, and now the shipping problems, the cost of goods is rising faster than wages can keep up.
It’s only a matter of time before we reach the tipping point where the economy buckles under the weight of the incompetence of the Democratic administration, and it’s coming soon. Biden can strongarm the private sector, but he is the one to blame for flooding the economy with handouts and making conditions favorable to simply not working.
