Border Patrol chief reveals 1.5 million illegals have crossed border during Biden's presidency

One of President Joe Biden's greatest failures has been his administration's inability, or refusal, to take actions necessary to quell the invasion at the southern U.S. border.

According to Breitbart, the U.S. Border Patrol chief, in testimony this week to Congress, revealed the sad state of the Biden administration's failures, noting that since Biden took office, 1.5 million have come across the border from Mexico.

Chief Raul L. Ortiz made the startling revelation this week.

In total, the number includes some 1.3 million "getaways" observed by Border Patrol agents, along with another 200,000 or so that are labeled as "untracked."

All categories of migrants had sky-high numbers under Biden's time in the White House, and under Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.

Breitbart noted:

Ortiz’s number, plus agency data, shows that Biden’s Cuban-born, pro-migration border chief — Alejandro Mayorkas — has allowed roughly 4.2 million economic migrants into the United States since January 2021.

"Supposing that we have 1.3 million [spotted] gotaways that we know of, what is your estimate of the people — that we don’t know about — that got away?" Rep. Carlos Giminez (R-FL) asked Chief Ortiz at the hearing.

Ortiz responded: "I will tell you that the gotaway number is a number that for a long time was associated with [field inspections] … it was our agents out there actually cutting swaths of country and using, you know, footprints as an indicator as to what we were seeing out there. That was our situational awareness."

"We have] 385,000 gotaways so far this fiscal year [Since October 1]. We continue to refine that number. I’ve got to do a better job of accounting for the actual encounters..."

"In my estimation based upon the situational awareness that I have, probably between 10 percent and 20 percent [more untracked gotaways]," Ortiz added.

The staggering numbers are nothing compared to the utter danger that the Biden administration has put American citizens in, especially those who live closer to the southern border.

That's not to mention the incredible strain put on border communities in the U.S. that the government just assumes will take care of the influx of migrants that pour across the border by the hour. Small towns at the border are overrun with crime and do not have the community resources left to take care of what the White House should be addressing.

Hopefully, Americans come together in 2024 and elect a Republican president who will take the necessary actions to quell the southern border invasion, or else America will be in great danger for a long time to come.
