Former President Bill Clinton remained in a California hospital Friday morning after being admitted earlier this week for a non-COVID-related medical situation.
“On Tuesday evening, President Clinton was admitted to UCI Medical Center to receive treatment for a non-Covid-related infection,” Clinton’s spokesman, Angel Urena, said in a statement on Thursday evening, according to Fox News.
“He is on the mend, in good spirits, and is incredibly thankful to the doctors, nurses, and staff providing him with excellent care,” she added.

Clinton was in the area for events with the Clinton Foundation. After feeling fatigued, the former president entered the hospital for an undisclosed infection.
The former president appears to be doing well and has been reportedly visited by his wife Hillary Clinton who was seen at the hospital.
The situation is not considered life-threatening, though the president remains hospitalized and his time of release is unknown.
The two-term president will likely soon return to normal travel as he continues his post-presidential work with his wife at the Clinton Foundation and other efforts in the days ahead.
