Nina Jankowicz, who recently resigned from leading the now shut down Disinformation Board under President Joe Biden, claims she received death threats in her position.
Jankowicz broke her silence on Thursday to share her concerns.

“To say that I am just a partisan actor was wildly out of context,” Jankowicz said, according to the New York Post.
“Over the last three weeks I have had maybe one or two days [where] I didn’t report a violent threat, something like, ‘We’re coming for you and your family, ‘You and your family should be sent to Russia to be killed,’” she added.

The new claims are concerning, but so was the board she led. Much controversy ensued following the announcement that the Biden administration was starting a board to oversee “disinformation,” seeing it as an effort that could stifle free speech.
The board has now ended, as has her job. That’s great news for her and for the American people, as Jankowicz has demonstrated that she does not belong in a position of power.
