Illegal immigration stresses even the most robust economy. With America on the brink of recession, President Joe Biden’s administration is doing everything it can to welcome even more migrants.
Biden’s Department of Homeland Security has released more than 1 million illegal immigrants into the U.S. since January 2021, Breitbart reported. The administration is also eager to abolish the Title 42 provision which would further compound the problem.
“We’re aiding and abetting illegal entry to the United States,” anonymous sources at DHS told the news outlet. “We’re using government cars to transport people to American towns. It’s working like an Uber service.”
Rep. Tom McClintock (R-CA) has warned that roughly 18,000 illegals per day would be escorted into the interior of the nation each day. McClintock said “that is the same as admitting a new state of Alaska every 40 days.”
Still, Biden is intent on not only letting people cross the border but also bringing them further into the nation. Because border towns are buckling under the stress of the influx, the administration has decided to simply transport these people further into the country, Fox News reported.
Moreover, Biden has tried to halt the COVID-19-related Title 42 which allowed Border Patrol to send illegals back to Mexico. The issue is being hashed out in federal court as the measure implemented by former President Donald Trump is under attack.
This is all happening even as economists are increasingly sounding the alarm that the U.S. is indeed in danger of sinking into a recession, the New York Post reported. Some predict a 40% chance of a tanking economy going into next year, and no doubt the influx of illegal immigrants will only increase woes to government systems.
By all measures, it seems Biden is intentionally making policies that are hurting Americans. Although incompetence is a likely excuse for some of his decisions, it’s clear that allowing so many illegal immigrants into the country unchecked is an all-around disaster — and yet he’s doing just that.
