President Joe Biden’s approval rating has dropped to a near-record low in a new poll.
The ABC News/Washington Post poll showed 37% of Americans approve of Biden’s job as president. A total of 55% disapproved, while 7% had no opinion.

“February’s approval rating comes as Americans are grappling with economic frustrations, with consumer prices increasing 7.5 annually at the end of January, the fastest rate since February 1982,” The Hill reported.
“Inflation in the U.S. has been elevated since the middle of last year, when the economy began rebounding from the COVID-19 slump, driving prices up,” he added.

The same poll showed that when asked about the state of the economy, just 3% said they believed it was excellent, showing the concerns most Americans have of Biden’s economy.
The news also comes just days after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, a move many have blamed on Biden’s soft foreign policy moves that have made him appear as a weak leader internationally.
The current poll will draw concerns from other Democrats as well as many face reelection battles in the November midterms.
