Biden supporters in Democrat Party don't want him in 2024, "always welcome but seldom wanted."

President Joe Biden is old and feeble-minded. However, Democrats have nobody else to take his place -- and the GOP is hoping to win because of it.

Sen. Rick Scott thinks Republicans will "win the presidency" if Biden runs again in 2024, Breitbart reported. The Florida Republican made these remarks on Fox Business Network's "Mornings with Maria" on Monday.

"I mean, he is out," Scott, who is chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee, said of Biden. "He's incoherent. He's incapacitated. I do hope he runs again," Scott said.

"I'm going to start a campaign to make sure he runs again because I know we'll win the presidency in '24," Scott added. "I mean, he is so unpopular in this country. Nobody wants to campaign with him," he said.

Several Democrats in key elections have been reluctant to allow Biden to join them on the campaign trail because of his failed policies and declining popularity even among Democrats. NBC News likened the way they treat Biden to the way one deals with an in-law: "always welcome but seldom wanted."

"His policies are horrible. Look at where we are," Scott said. "We got high inflation. We've got high crime. We've got the Afghanistan debacle. We've got an open border," he pointed out.

"There's nothing he's touched that he's done a good job with. He ought to – I mean, if he wants to do something good for the American public, he needs to resign right now. Let's start fixing this country."

Biden has done such a terrible job that even members of his own party see him as a liability as they head into the contentious midterm elections. As bad as things are now, the true reckoning will come in 2024 if Biden decides to run again -- that is, if his age and deterioration don't make the choice for them.
