Biden slips up, calls Kamala Harris 'a great president' during White House celebration

President Joe Biden's mental acuity has always been a concern. However, it appears he's more confused than ever.

While wishing Vice President Kamala Harris a happy birthday, Biden called her a "great president," the Washington Examiner reported. He made this remark Monday during a White House Diwali celebration that is part of a larger pattern.

"Happy Birthday to a great president. We know your mom is always with you," Biden said.

The president also joked that Harris, who turned 58 on Oct. 20, "turned 30." Perhaps calling Harris the president could be construed as a joke or a simple misspeak -- except that Biden has done this several times before.

According to Fox News, Biden referred to Harris as the "president-elect" during a COVID-19 briefing in Dec. 2020, shortly after his election. During a vaccine rollout just three months later, Biden once again erroneously referred to "President Harris." He did the same thing in Dec. 2021 and again in Jan. 2022.

"President Harris, who’s a proud Howard alum, she might have something to say about Delaware State," Biden attempted to joke during South Carolina State University’s fall commencement Jan. 11, 2022. The White House transcript had to bracket in her full title to save face for him.

However, Biden has not only confused Harris's role in the administration, but he's also confused his relationship with her. "We've had a little rearrangement of whose on the stage because of the first lady's husband contracting COVID," Biden said in April after Harris' husband, Doug Emhoff, had tested positive for the coronavirus.

In May, Biden was back to simply forgetting which office Harris held. "The Indo-Pacific is an Indo-Pacific that is free and open, stable and prosperous, and resilient and secure...And that’s why I asked President Harris to travel to the region last August," he said.

There have been other gaffes, but none so glaring as last month during a White House event when Biden seemed to forget that a close political ally had died. "Jackie are you here?" he said, looking out for Rep. Jackie Walorski (R-IN).

"Where's Jackie? She must not be here," he concluded.

Indeed she was not as Walorski had died on Aug. 3 in a car crash that also took the lives of two of her staffers, NBC News reported. Biden had even issued a statement following her death suggesting he was most certainly briefed on it.

Biden is losing more of his cognitive strength by the day. However, the mainstream media is still attempting to ignore the elephant in the room.
