Biden says he still hasn't made final decision about running in 2024

President Joe Biden said during an interview on Sunday that he still hasn't made a final decision about running for president in 2024.

Biden shared the comment during an interview on CBS' "60 Minutes" on Sunday.

"And it's much too early to make that kind of decision. I'm a great respecter of fate. And so what I'm doing is I'm doing my job. I'm going to do that job. And within the timeframe that makes sense after this next election cycle here, going into next year, make a judgment on what to do," Biden said.

"Look, my intention, as I said, to begin with, is that I would run again. But it's just an intention. But is it a firm decision that I run again? That remains to be seen," he later added.

Biden also declared the Covid pandemic was officially over during the interview, wrapping up one of the major themes of the first two years of his presidency just ahead of the midterm elections.

The interview leaves more questions than answers, especially regarding whether Biden will make another run in the days ahead.
