Senate report says Hunter Biden made payments to individuals linked to prostitution and human trafficking

A new 87-page Senate report revealed a slew of shocking allegations against Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden, and the investigation hasn’t even concluded.

The joint Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs and the Senate Committee on Finance investigation launched in August of 2019 is still in progress, but committee chairs Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) and Ron Johnson (R-WI) released an interim report on Wednesday morning.

The report details allegations of shady financial dealings with China and the Ukrainian fossil fuel giant Burisma that opened up  then-Vice President Joe Biden and his family to “extortion threats and criminal concerns.”

One of the more salacious claims of the report alleges that Joe’s troubled younger son, Hunter, actually paid “thousands of dollars” to women that were involved in “possible human trafficking” operations.

The report reads:

In addition to providing new and descriptive details about the nature, origin and extent of payments from
Burisma Holdings to Hunter Biden, the documents acquired by the Committees also shed light on a much broader array of questionable financial transactions involving Hunter Biden, other members of the Biden family, and their associations with foreign nationals. These foreign nationals have questionable backgrounds that have been identified as being consistent with a range of criminal activities, including but not limited to organized prostitution and/or human trafficking, money laundering, fraud, and embezzlement.

Hunter Biden paid nonresident women who were nationals of Russia or other Eastern
European countries and who appear to be linked to an “Eastern European prostitution or
human trafficking ring.”

According to the findings of the Senate investigation, not only did Joe Biden refuse to address serious conflict of interest concerns and national security risks posed by his family’s dealings overseas, the Obama administration actually actively covered these concerns up.

The report specifically names then-Secretary of State John Kerry in allegations of a purposeful cover-up and dismissal of Hunter Biden’s questionable dealings with Burisma “while his father was the public face of the Obama administration’s Ukraine policy.”
