President Joe Biden is taking on a new public relations plan and his senior officials have taken a strategy to increase his approval rating through social media, according to Breitbart News.
According to Breitbart News, the Biden Administration has found new ways to communicate with the American people, specifically through social media and pop culture icons.
Citing “senior administration officials,” NBC News reported Tuesday the advisers said they plan for Biden to “talk to more people directly,” instead of “one-dimensional” speeches.
The White House officials called it one of Biden’s “greatest political strengths” to be able to provide “empathy and an ability to connect with ordinary Americans,” as he faces a political nightmare in polling data in recent weeks.
As Biden approaches his first year in office it’s believed that around 50 percent of Americans are “frustrated with Biden’s president and 52 percent think Biden made the economy worse and 58 percent say he has made inflation worse, according to a CBS News/YouGov survey.
Additionally, a Quinnipiac poll released last week revealed more bad news, showing that Biden is only polling well with 33 percent of likely voters and that his approval rating of his job performance is only trending downward.
“The White House has already tried to enact a more social media-focused strategy by pursuing appearances with ‘influencers’ like Olivia Rodrigo, the Jonas Brothers, Benny Drama’s ‘Kooper the Intern’ character, and YouTube stars including makeup artists and wild animal experts,” Breitbart reported.
