President Joe Biden sent letters to Dr. Oz and NFL star Herschel Walker to demand they resign from the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness & Nutrition or be fired from the board due to running for political office.
Both men are running for Senate. Oz is running as a Republican candidate in Pennsylvania while Walker is running in Georgia.

“President Biden is so scared about us beating Raphael Warnock that he has asked me to resign from my unpaid position on the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition,” Walker wrote.
“I’m not a quitter so you are going to have to fire me,” he added.

Oz also took to Twitter to criticize the president’s letter, refusing to leave the role he accepted under former President Donald Trump.
Biden’s letter said the decision was due to the two candidates running for political office. Regardless of the reason, the two men are pushing back against the latest move by the president.
