Biden declares intent to ‘start the process,’ stops short of declaring victory

Multiple battleground states appeared to begin swinging toward Democrat nominee Joe Biden on Friday, and Biden didn’t waste any time issuing a statement declaring his intent to “get the work done and start the process.”

Biden stopped just short of declaring victory in the hotly contested election, allowing mainstream media outlets to do the dirty work for him.

Biden appeared late Friday evening to issue a statement revealing that he is confident the Biden/Harris ticket will be declared the winners of the election once the final votes are counted.

“We don’t have a final declaration of victory yet,” Biden said, but the numbers show “a clear and convincing story: We’re going to win this race.”

“We’re going to win this race with a clear majority of the nation behind us,” he told supporters in Delaware, pointing to emerging leads in Pennsylvania and Georgia — two states that haven’t voted blue in decades.

Biden currently holds 264 electoral votes to Donald Trump’s 214, but the number hasn’t changed since election night as chaos overtook the ballot-counting process in a number of critical battleground states. Biden must win 270 electoral votes to claim victory.

Biden concluded his appearance by indicating that his team has already begun preparing for a transition, commenting that though he can’t declare victory yet, “we’re not waiting to get the work done and start the process.”

Donald Trump fired back at Biden on Friday evening by issuing a counter-statement calling on Biden not to “wrongfully claim” the White House.

“Joe Biden should not wrongfully claim the office of the President,” Trump tweeted. “I could make that claim also. Legal proceedings are just now beginning!”

“I had such a big lead in all of these states late into election night, only to see the leads miraculously disappear as the days went by,” Trump added. “Perhaps these leads will return as our legal proceedings move forward!”

  1. Biden has not been chosen. Media does not declare elections. This is in the courts. There is a lot of criminal activity and once it has been resolved in the courts our President will remain Donald J Trump!!

  2. Rep. Politicians needs to stand with President Trump, demanding a recount from ?? Battleground states.
Cruption needs ruled out. Democrat party would be requesting the same thing if shoe was on the other foot.
    Smells rotten…..
This is USA, not a Dictator’s middle eastern countries.
China, Iran, Russia, have been buying off Crupt Politicians, enriching there wallets, while American citizens suffer from there policies. Shame on them. May God bless President Trump with 4 more years. 🙏

  3. This should be the only question people ask. Two MMA fighters have a bout coming up, one of them sits in his basement eating bon bon’s, the other trains every single day. Are we to believe that this fight isn’t already rigged! How does a half brain dead person sit in the basement, and still win an election? Because it’s rigged 110% in their favor. So don’t tell the American People that this was a free , and fair election, because it was nothing of the kind. This is why nobody will follow loser Biden, and the Democrats declared war on America.

  4. Stupid democrats had stolen your right to vote for. I will never ever support Biden/Harris. They are not fit to be in the the president. They are criminals themselves. I HATE them all. They will destroy the Americans country and the Americans people. Harris is so nasty.
She gives a bad example for the women. Trump is better. He never did anything wrong.
