Joe Biden Claims Trump Will Cancel November Election

Presumptive democrat presidential nominee and former senator Joe Biden recently suggested President Donald Trump may cancel the November 3 election voting day and replace it with another one at a later date.

Citing no evidence, Biden speculated to the audience of a virtual fundraiser Trump will attempt to “kick back” the election.

“Mark my words I think he is gonna try to kick back the election somehow, come up with some rationale why it can’t be held,” Biden told those who attended.

Biden claimed Trump will do that because it is “the only way he can win.”

Imagine threatening not to fund the Post Office. Now what in God’s name is that about? Other than trying to let the word out that he’s going to do all he can to make it very hard for people to vote. That’s the only way he thinks he can possibly win.

Although neither Trump nor a representative has suggested the elections should be moved, Nancy Pelosi responded as if the “danger” was more than an allegation from a presidential candidate at a fundraiser. “I know there’s a danger and people are scared, but we must and we will,” Pelosi said about holding the elections as scheduled.

Trump’s official spokesman outright rejected Biden’s claim. “Those are the incoherent, conspiracy theory ramblings of a lost candidate who is out of touch with reality,” said Tim Murtaugh, communications director for the Trump campaign. “President Trump has been clear that the election will happen on November 3rd.”

Later in his event, Biden also predicted President Trump “is already trying to undermine the election with false claims of voter fraud and threatening to block essential COVID assistance if any extra funds go to U.S. Postal Service.”

Biden’s event, called “A Fabulous Evening With Vice President Joe Biden,” included guests such as unsuccessful White House candidate and former South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg and celebrity notables like Melissa Etheridge, Billie Jean King, and Kristin Chenoweth.
