Biden, Abrams called on to apologize for election fearmongering

When Democrats win, they claim the elections are the most secure in the history of the nation. When they lose, they claim the system is rigged.

A top Georgia official is demanding an apology from Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams and President Joe Biden after early voting numbers smash their voter suppression narrative, the Conservative Brief reported. Previously, both had claimed that the state's new elections security laws would unfairly keep some eligible voters away.

In the wake of the 2020 election, the Georgia legislature tightened voting procedures like requiring identification to request absentee ballots and eliminating unsecured drop boxes, the BBC reported at the time. Democrats like Adams and Biden claimed these were racist attacks on voters' rights.

"Recount after recount and court case after court case upheld the integrity and outcome of a clearly free, fair, and secure democratic process," Biden claimed in the aftermath. "Instead of celebrating the rights of all Georgians to vote or winning campaigns on the merits of their ideas, Republicans in the state instead rushed through an un-American law to deny people the right to vote," he added.

However, Gabriel Sterling, Chief Operating Officer of the Georgia Secretary of State’s Office, petitioned for their apologies last weekend after early voting numbers were in. "How many turnout records do we have to break before Stacey Abrams and President Biden apologize to Georgia?" Sterling said.

A statement from Republican Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger's office confirmed the staggering truth. "We’re on track to break records in terms of voter turnout in every category," he wrote.

"In 2018, 223,576 Georgians voted by mail for Governor. So far this year, we’ve received 239,789 requests for absentee ballots, 238,356 have been mailed out," Raffensperger's statement noted.

"We’ll exceed 2018’s total for mailed-in ballots. So far, we’ve been breaking the early vote record set in 2018, and we’re approaching the early vote numbers in 2020," it added.

"Georgia voters continued to hit record-breaking turnout on day three of Early Voting. As of Thursday morning, just under 400,000 Georgia voters have cast their ballot during in-person Early Voting, with 126,918 showing up on Wednesday, October 19th," the Secretary of State's Office claimed.

"Wednesday’s total marks a 63.3% increase from day three of 2018 midterm Early Voting and is only slightly under the total of day three of Early Voting in the 2020 Presidential election," the statement added. This is particularly notable in an off-year election that usually sees lower turnout.

Still, Abrahms insisted that this recent record turnout did dissuade her from her talking points. "We proved in ’18, and it remains true, that turnout does not dispel voter suppression," she claimed Monday, citing her loss the first time she ran for Georgia governor. "Suppression is about barriers to access."

Democrats always claim to be victims. Even when the evidence proves otherwise, they'll never give up a useful narrative.
