Former President Barack Obama expressed his concerns over a new Supreme Court ruling against the EPA that he says will limit the agency’s fight against climate change.
Obama shared the concern in a Twitter post on Thursday.
No challenge poses a greater threat to our future than a changing climate. Every day, we’re feeling the impact of climate change, and today’s Supreme Court decision is a major step backward.

“No challenge poses a greater threat to our future than a changing climate. Every day, we’re feeling the impact of climate change, and today’s Supreme Court decision is a major step backward,” he wrote.
“The 6-3 decision strikes a blow to the EPA’s authority to regulate power plant emissions—paving the way to dismantle some of the most impactful provisions of the Clean Air Act and limit our ability to reduce carbon pollution,” he added in a later post.

The words may sound good, but the court’s decision to limit regulations based on artificial standards created to help businesses in the climate change industry is a good move.
Businesses with fewer regulations tend to grow better than those with more rules, allowing America to operate more freely.
