Activists are planning to confront Arizona Democratic Sen. Kyrsten Sinema as she runs the Boston Marathon on Monday.
“Activists from a group known as the Green New Deal Network plan to confront Senator Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona, who has qualified to run in the marathon, over her refusal to commit to supporting the $3.5 trillion Build Back Better Act, the group said Saturday,” the Boston Globe Reported.
The group plans to hold up signs during the marathon to encourage Sinema to pass the president’s massive spending plan.
Along with West Virginia Democrat Sen. Joe Manchin, the two senators remain the lone party holdouts against the bill.
The plans to protest against Sinema following a recent controversy where she was followed into a campus restroom by an activist who recorded her and posted the video online.

Sinema was also interrupted during a recent flight to Arizona and during her time exiting the airport by protesters concerned about her plans to not support the bill.
The attacks on Sinema from supporters within her own party have come under criticism from many Americans, including Republican leaders, who argue the self-sabotage methods are extreme and at time, criminal acts.
