Activist David Hogg steps down from pillow company founded as liberal answer to MyPillow

Gun control activist David Hogg announced on Twitter Saturday that he is saying goodbye to Good Pillow, a progressive MyPillow competitor he helped launch only two months ago.

“Effective immediately, I have resigned and released all shares, any ownership and any control of Good Pillow LLC,” Hogg tweeted. “I want to thank his partnership and wish him absolutely nothing but success with the future of Good Pillow.”

Hogg claimed to turn over full ownership of the pillow company to his co-founder LeGate to focus on his education and activist efforts. Apparently, not a single pillow was manufactured.

Newsweek reported, “On Saturday, Hogg thanked his Good Pillow partner William LeGate and said he would focus on his college studies and gun-control activism.”

“Over the next several months, I will be taking some time to focus on my studies in college and advance the gun violence prevention movement with March for Our Lives and personally,” he continued.

The company launched two months ago as a “pillow fight” with conservative MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell. Lindell had been an outspoken Trump supporter who was removed from Twitter for continuing to speak out against his beliefs regarding a stolen 2020 presidential election.

Many conservatives mocked the effort. Hogg’s quick exit may reveal the financial support for a progressive pillow competitor was indeed lacking.

The gun control activist will continue his activist efforts. However, the young progressive has discovered that starting and running a successful business may be more difficult than garnering the left’s media attention.

  6. Another liberal facing the reality that they have no clue on how to run a business. They’re really only good at running their mouths, telling other people how to run THEIR businesses.

  7. Too bad Hogg’s progressive indoctrination didn’t include SOME training on how to survive in the business world, eh?

  8. Davie Hog is famous in his own mind. What other people know about him that he is a slimeball individual who tries to use a tradgey that his friends and acquaintances suffered to line his own pockets and gain notoriety for his own inferior purposes.

  9. Stepping down because it was a total failure. Something his ego couldn’t handle. Have fun with your leftist ideals.

  10. Hogg is living off a wish. He is about as much a business man as I am a jet pilot and I can’t fly. Trump most likely don’t even know Hogg’s name.
