A judge has warned Donald Trump about his social media posts but has refused to gag him

The judge who is presiding over the arraignment of former President Donald Trump issued a warning to the former president about his remarks on Truth Social.

"Judge warns #Trump to refrain from social media posts that could foment unrest, after messages critical of prosecutor," the tweet by reporter Susan Li stated.

Trump was critical of Judge Juan Merchan in a Tuesday post on Truth Social.

“VERY UNFAIR VENUE, WITH SOME AREAS THAT VOTED 1% REPUBLICAN. THIS CASE SHOULD BE MOVED TO NEARBY STATEN ISLAND – WOULD BE A VERY FAIR AND SECURE LOCATION FOR THE TRIAL.

ADDITIONALLY, THE HIGHLY PARTISAN JUDGE & HIS FAMILY ARE WELL KNOWN TRUMP HATERS,” TRUMP POSTED. “HE WAS AN UNFAIR DISASTER ON A PREVIOUS TRUMP RELATED CASE, WOULDN’T RECUSE, GAVE HORRIBLE JURY INSTRUCTIONS, & IMPOSSIBLE TO DEAL WITH DURING THE WITCH HUNT TRIAL. HIS DAUGHTER WORKED FOR ‘KAMALA’ & NOW THE BIDEN-HARRIS CAMPAIGN. KANGAROO COURT!!!”

Also, Trump used the social media platform to attack the Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.

“D.A. BRAGG JUST ILLEGALLY LEAKED THE 33 points of Indictment,” Trump posted Monday. “There are no changes or surprises from those he leaked days ago directly out of the Grand Jury. No Crime by Trump. What a MESS. Bragg should resign, NOW!”

In another post, Trump criticized Fox News, saying, "why does Fox keep putting on Bill Barr?

"Ss attorney general he was a complete coward who was absolutely petrified of being impeached, which the democrats threatened to do until he became their virtual “slave” and refused to investigate and prosecute the massive election fraud that took place in the 2020 presidential election, by far the radical left’s greatest concern.

"He said he did investigate, but he didn’t have the “guts” to properly do so, and now we have a nation in massive decline!"

The case is based on a $130,000 payment to porn star Stormy Daniels in 2016, during Trump's successful campaign for president, Bragg managed to get a grand jury indictment against Trump on Thursday.

Trump appeared in court on Tuesday and entered a not-guilty plea to all 34 criminal counts after turning himself in to be charged.

Candidates for the GOP nomination for president have criticized the indictment as "politically driven" and "a terrible time in Our history." The indictment was also attacked by Republican elected officials, former officials, and conservative media leaders.
